THE POWER OF VIBRATIONS

Sound Journey / Concert FRIDAY 22/8

THE POWER OF VIBRATIONS

Concert with gong, electronica and deep vibroacoustics

When: FRIDAY, August 22
Time: 7:00 PM
Price: 300 SEK
A concert / sound journey – Acoustic meets electronic

Experience the power of vibration: You are invited to a unique session exploring the profound impact of sound through vibroacoustics, featuring gongs, crystal bowls, didgeridoo, and powerful deep drum frequencies. All these acoustic instruments are combined with electronic instruments, specifically analog synthesizers and filters (Roland System 100, Moog, and more). The sounds are carefully tuned to affect the body at the cellular level, promoting deep relaxation and altered states of consciousness through psychoacoustic effects and the deep tones of synthesizers.

This evening offers a rare opportunity to hear how acoustic instruments meet electronic music. Everything is performed live on stage in a theater hall with a quality sound system and lighting.

No prior experience required – come as you are and make yourself comfortable. You’re welcome to bring your own yoga mat and blanket. Some mattresses/seating cushions may be provided by the theater.

Come as you are.

Mateusz Krawiec
Facilitator in sound therapy, artist, yoga teacher, and founder of Sound Therapy Training. Originally from southwestern Poland, now living in Sweden. He is a former lawyer who discovered his connection and passion for the body, mind, and consciousness.

“Since 2009, sound healing has been a major part of my life, and over the years it has become my profession. Today, sound is a form of my embodied spiritual practice, a therapeutic tool, and a medium of artistic expression.”

He is best known for playing idiophonic instruments such as gongs, crystal bowls, didgeridoo, and overtone singing. In his work, he focuses on the physioacoustic, artistic, and ceremonial aspects of sound as a therapeutic method.

Kristian Eliasson
Musician and sound engineer who runs Wholetone Studio in Malmö. A former project manager in many international telecom projects, he has always been deeply involved in music and sound recording.

In recent years, music has increasingly taken center stage, leading to several recordings of major orchestras such as the Malmö Symphony Orchestra, Helsingborg Symphony Orchestra, and the string orchestra Musica Vitae.

This, combined with his interest in electronic instruments, sampling, field recordings, and sound design, has led him to delve deeply into the significance of sound and frequencies from various life aspects and perspectives.

Kristian Eliasson has now taken the step to explore sound not only for artistic purposes but also for physiological and therapeutic purposes, as he digs deeper into what frequencies and vibrations can mean — and what they can do — for us as human beings.
